What a moon for the Moon Festival!
Our Families with Children from China Group had our 3rd annual Moon Festival last night at the home of Max, Kathy, & Emma Norman. We had such a large turn out. It was so nice to see everyone. We try to get together at least once a month. There are a few months out of the year we don't do anything as a group because of Family holidays or BACK TO SCHOOL! haha

(No, I didn't misspell her name!lol)
After some good food and fellowship all the kido's got to decorate Chinese lanterns for a Lantern Parade. They had lot's of fun getting to color and add stickers to their lanterns.Gracie Mei shows off her lovely lantern.

This beautiful lady is Min. She is a friend of Russell's from work. She got to come and bring her two son's, David and Daniel. The young lady in the center is one of our FCC families newest members. AnnaLi. AnnaLi is 12 and just came home from China last month. She doesn't speak English, but learns a little everyday. Min was such a big help to The Gray family in translating for AnnaLi to her Mother Kristy. It was such a wonderful sight to see AnnaLi's face light up to be able to have a conversation with someone who knew what she was saying. Min and Kristy sat forever with AnnaLi just talking with her. It was such an emotional time for me to see how Happy Min and AnnaLi seemed to be talking with each other in Chinese. Thank you Min for giving this family something good. You are a sweetheart!
