Family, Friends, Pumpkin Patch, Halloween, Candy...FUN!

Ali has started to show interest in playing with her dolls and stuffed animals. She loves her shopping cart. Loves her "BLING", and by the way...SHE DOES NOT GET THAT FROM ME! lol and loves to laugh and play!

In honor of our sweet black lab, Hunter, that past away the day we left for China on Aug 15, 2010. We named this stuffed lab Hunter. Ali loves to play with him. She would have loved to play with the real Hunter if he was still with us.

Liz Hurley Run. We only walked the Survior walk with My Sweet and Dear Friend Elizabeth (#2845) She has so far beat Brest Cancer! We hope and pray that it will NEVER show it's ugly face again!! I Love you Elizabeth!!

There is NOTHING like the LOVE of a cousin! These two are so funny when they get together. Well, that are funny apart from each other, but it is double the fun when they are together. Getting ready to go to Tate Farms and pick out pumpkins and play play play!!!

At Tate Farms, yes Ali has on different clothes. She had an acident because Mommy didn't change her when she had a chance to before lunch! Here we are in the cotton patch. Amryn and Ali had so much fun at Tate Farms.

I couldn't get Ali to sit down so I could get a pic like I have from the yea before. lol Silly girl!

Ali's FIRST Trick or Treat! Our FCC had Trunk or Treat for the kiddo's at Jimmy Gill park in Athens. Here are just A FEW of the loves we have in our group. We will have 4 or 5 more sweet loves come home in 2012!

Ali's First Trick or Treating on Halloween night! Oh My Word! she was a pro! lol We tried to teach her to say Trick or Treat before we started. So when we got to a house, we would ask..." What do yu say, ALi?" She would saw "Pweeze" and hold her pumkin up! lol Then we would tell her to say "Thank You" she would tell them "Welcome". lol What a fun night! lol

Alison Update 9/23/2011

Sorry we don't update this blog much anymore. We really don't have any excuse, other than we have our hands full with our beautiful daughter. Alison's 2nd birthday is quickly approaching. She likes Bambi a lot and lisa is planning on doing a Bambi themed cake and party.

She is growing up so quickly. The change has been increadible over the last year. I have always heard that they grow up quickly, but until you experience it for yourself as a parent you just don't realize how fast it really is. Alison is just now starting to talk. She can make her wishes known when she wants to watch Dora or Mickey Mouse. When she cannot seem to get her point across to us she will usually just cry until we figure it out. Someone once told me that the sound of a crying baby is the most annoying sound to a human. I believe that and I also believe that it is that way by design.

Last month on the 22nd of August we celebrated family day. That day was exacltly 1 year since Alison was handed over to us in Nanchang, China at the Galactic Peace Hotel. That is a day I will never forget. A day that changed my life for the better. I took the day off from work and we spent it with my parents at the early works museum, had a nice Chinese lunch and took a stroll around a lake on top of green mountain. We plan to celebrate our "Family" day every year.

What a difference a year makes. The picture on the left above was taken in October 2010. The one on the right was taken September 2011. You can hardly tell it is the same person. I can't wait to see how she grows over the next year.

Tonight Russ, Ali, and I went out for my late B'day.

We went to Zaxby's for dinner. While we were there

we ran into our friend Becky Smith and

her China Sweetie Noah. They were there

having dinner with Noah's God Mother

and her daughter. Becky told Russ they were on their

way to the Kiddie Carnival, So Russ asked

if We should take Ali. I didn't know

how she would do, because she is so

skittish sometimes. But we decided to go.

It's free to get in and it's only $.50 each ride.

So, if she didn't want to ride, it wasn't gonna

hurt anything. WELL..... SHE LOVED IT!

She wasn't to sure about the carousel,

but she stayed on with Daddy.

She LOVED the cars.

She wanted BACK ON when it was over.

But we tried the other small rides.

Neither of us thought she would stay on this one.

She never tried to get out, but as you can

see her face, I don't think she was to sure

about it. She never cried and she didn't put up a
fuss to get out either!

She was having fun!

I think she made 2 maybe 3 rounds
and she was DONE!
They had to stop the ride so she could get off!
She cried on this one!
She wanted to ride more rides
but my back was killing me so we left.
The train broke, I think she would have liked that too.
We still have tickets, so we will take
her back again real soon.

July 15, 2011

One year ago today was the

BEST BIRTHDAY I have ever had!

This BEAUTIFUL little Cutie pie is what I got!

We got our referral from China July 15, 2010.

My 41st Birthday!

And look at her now!

Helping Mommy eat her birthday cake on her 42nd Birthday.

We didn't get to send it with Daddy.

He was out of town with work.

We got to spend it with Aunt Stacy!

Last Home Study...July 14, 2011

Our LAST home study visit!
Wow, our last visit! It's DONE, It's OVER!

We are going to miss seeing her.
Thursday, July 14, 2011 was our very last home study.
Russ was out of town, so it was me, Ali and my sister, Stacy.
I hurt my back and was on some pain meds,
so Stacy had to come take care of Ali
and myself, and drive us around.
Thank you China for giving us a
BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL!
She completes us!
