Baby Sitting again!!

Just call me the Baby Sitting Queen!
Today I got to keep Emma for a few hours for her Aunt Libba.
Gosh, she is growing up so fast!!!
I went to pick her up and bring her home with me.
She played a few computer games while we (I) baked
some cookies. Then we went to the movies to see
Horton Hears A Who! (Great Movie! lol)
At the movies they have one of those toy grabber machines.
Well, Emma wanted me to win her a TY baby.
Needless to say I didn't win one.
Aunt Libba gave me some money for Emma and Emma
wanted a toy. I took her to Big Lot's and she got to
get her a toy. Well guess what Big Lot's has.....
If you guess a toy grabber machine,
you Guessed right!
Well, Guess what?!?! I won a blue Poodle!
Emma LOVED IT!!
LOL we had fun today. If you look at the picture...
I USE to have a lady bug coin purse.
I told her how Lady Bugs give you good luck.
I had the coin purse in my hand when I won the dog.
She asked me if she could have it and guess
who has it now!?! I asked her if she flashed her
baby blues at me so I would give her
my change purse, She said.....YES!
lol like I said, She is growing up to FAST!
Thanks Emma for a fun filled Day.
I Love You!! Auntie Lisa

Leigh didn't want much to do with me AT ALL!! lol she would do good
as long as I had her facing away from me. But, as soon as she would turn
and se who had her she would pout out that little lip
and start to cry. Well, as you see we had a turn around moment!

Leight LOVES Andrew! She was trying to give him a kiss.

This is Leigh and her brother Judd. They are so cute!!

Thanks Elizabeth and Rebecca for letting me babysit.

FCC Easter Egg Hunt!! 3/15/08

Happy Easter
Athens Families with
Children from China!

Today, March 15,2008 was our FCC Easter Egg Hunt.
I don't even know how many families got to come, but there was a very nice size group of families that were there. We had 2 new families that came. How exciting that was!
This is our Great Niece Amryn.
She got to come to our Easter Hunt with her Mommy, Misty.
Her Nanny got to come, and so did our good friends Becca and Caden.
As you can see, She did really well with the Easter Bunny.
What a sweet and beautiful little PRINCESS!
Did someone say BUNNY HOP?
All the kiddo's and some of the parents
lined up to do the bunny hop with
the Easter Bunny.
It was really fun to watch! lol

After the Bunny Hop we all sat to watch this AWESOME video
that Jerry Green put together for today.
YES, I CRIED!!! It was BEAUTIFUL!
Thank you Jerry for a wonderful gift to us all!
Jerry gave each family that was there a copy.
So, if you are a member of our group and would
like to have one, I am sure he will send you one.

After the video it was
TIME TO EAT!
Yummm was all I have to say.
I didn't eat much, but I was sure stuffed after I ate.
I think we all ate everything that was there!
lol Yes, We all LOVE TO EAT!

After we ate it was time to
HUNT FOR EASTER EGGS!
It looks like Amryn and Caden got lot's of eggs.
lol KIDS ARE EVERYWHERE!
It is always fun to sit back and watch the kids hunt for eggs.
This year it had rained, so the kiddo's hunted eggs
inside the church auditorium. There was grass and
opened eggs everywhere. lol
The children knew what was inside those eggs...
CANDY!!

This is my buddy Caden! He wishes his Daddy could be here.
But he is away in Afghanistan.
We pray that you come home safe Hector!
Here are some of my favorite photo's I took today.
Glad you got to stop by and take a look into my life!
Hopefully We will have Alison (and hopefully Susan too)
next year for this event!

Among their family and friends were a few of our FCC Family.
Emily Woodall came alone. She left all the kiddo's home with Billy.

to Welcome home Baby Noah.
and lastly, Russ and I were there for our friends, The Smith Family.

The girls were ready to welcome Home Baby Noah.
Have any of you tried to get a picture of this little man? lol
Paul William was running so fast the camera's
didn't have time to get focused! lol
He is such a sweet heart! The girls are gonna go
CRAZY after him when he gets older!
Paul William was ready to see another little boy join our FCC Family.

Aunt Connie had to get her some sweet kisses form Baby Noah.
Oh isn't he just so CUTE!!
You just want to kiss him all over!
He is so sweet. One of Noah's Aunties brought puffs.
He was giving every child that came up to him some.
He even fed Aunt Emily one! lol
We are glad you all are home safe and sound Smith Family.
We Love You All Very Much.

THE ONE FLAW IN WOMEN

The One Flaw In Women

By the time the Lord made woman,

He was into his sixth day of working overtime.

An angel appeared and said,

"Why are you spending so much time on this one?"

And the Lord answered,

"Have you seen my spec sheet on her?

She has to be completely washable,

but not plastic, have over 200 movable parts,

all replaceable and able to run on diet coke and leftovers,

have a lap that can hold four children at one time,

have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart-

and she will do everythingwith only two hands."

The angel was astounded at the requirements.

"Only two hands!? No way!

And that's just on the standard model?

That's too much work for one day.

Wait until tomorrow to finish.

""But I won 't, " the Lord protested."

I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart.

She already heals herself when she is sick

AND can work 18 hour days.

"The angel moved closer and touched the woman.

"But you have made her so soft, Lord.

""She is soft," the Lord agreed,"

but I have also made her tough.

You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."

"Will she be able to think?", asked the angel.

The Lord replied,"Not only will she be able to think,

she will be able to reason and negotiate."

The angel then noticed something,

and reaching out, touched the woman's cheek.

"Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model.

I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one."

"That's not a leak," the Lord corrected,"that's a tear!"

"What's the tear for?" the angel asked.

The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy,

her sorrow, her pain, her disappointment,

her love, her loneliness, her grief and her pride."

The angel was impressed."You are a genius, Lord.

You thought of everything!

Woman is truly amazing."And she is!

Women have strengths that amaze men.

They bear hardships and they carry burdens,

but they hold happiness, love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They cry when they are happyand laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in.

They stand up to injustice.

They don't take "no" for an answer

when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without so their family can have.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.

They cry when their children exceland

cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear abouta birth or a wedding.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They grieve at the loss of a family member,

yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you

to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.

They bring joy, hope and love.

They have compassion and ideals.

They give moral support to their family and friends.

Women have vital things to say and everything to give

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE TINY FLAW IN WOMEN,

IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.
