Puppy Update...

Little Miss Maggie May is growing like a weed. We have had her for 2 weeks now and she has grown at least 2 or 3 inches. She keeps us moving, that's for sure! lol She likes to CHEW, but what she REALLY LIKES TO DO IS BITE MY NOSE AND EARS! haha Hunter has been really good o her. I thought he might not get along with her because he is the MASTER around here. But he is sooooo good with her. He plays with her and lets her pull and bite on him...it is so cute to watch. Cooper can care less if Maggie is around or not. She doesn't play with Maggie at all, at least not that I have seen. Cooper likes to steal Maggies treats. Maggie is soooo much like a little kid. She is everywhere!! She has learned to sit but sometimes she tried to prove you wrong! lol I will post more as she grows! Oppppssss It's Bath time...Russell just took her to get a bath...gotta run. Love, Lisa

New Addition to the family!

Nope, It's not Alison.

We have a new puppy!!! Don't ask us why!! lol
A friend from Church had this puppy come to her house. She returned it to it's owner once, He asked if she knew anyone who wanted free puppies.....Well, the puppy was at her house again. She was going to take it to the pound...We couldn't let that happen....She called and we just couldn't not go get the puppy. So at 9pm last night (Sunday5-20-07) We drove to her house to look at it......SHE JUST MELTED OUR HEARTS!! She is a sweet little black lab!! We brought her home and put her in the garage with Hunter and Cooper. They did really god with her. Cooper is going to be a good Mommy and Hunter is going to be a good Daddy. Russ got up first thing to check on the puppy and he said all 3 dogs were asleep on the dog bed. We tried to crate her just in case Hunter and Cooper were mean to her, but she whined so loud!! We had to let her out. We haven't named her yet. We wanted something to rhyme with Hunter & Cooper, But I can't think of a name. I asked Russ last night on the way home if we should give her a Chinese name......she started whimpering, So Russ said...I don't think she wants a Chinese name! haha Anyway, Russ wants a hunting name. If you can help us name our new puppy we will gladly take suggestions!

Kite Day / Paul William's Shower

Kite Day!! April 28, 2007

Thanks to the Sandlin family for allowing our Athens, Al Families with Children from China (AL,FCC) group to have Kite day at their home!!!!!

Well, Sat. April 28, was our very first Kite day. Even though the wind didn't give us much, we still had fun. Kites Kites and more Kites....Does anyone need a Kite?? lol

We had a nice time, like always! We had a lovely shower for Greg and Mary Louise Ogle. They will soon be going to China to bring home their son, Paul William. Paul is a very cute little boy. He is so lucky to have sweet parents. We are so excited to have another little boy in our FCC group.

We will also have a new little girl home from China! Lily Mei's wonderful parents are Steve and Monica Carter. She should be home about the same time as Paul William.

Congrtaulations Ogle & Carter Families!!!

Here William Woodall runs with his kite. He is waiting for his little sister to come home from China. The Woodall's LID was in Jan'06. We are waiting right along with them. We have about 9 waiting families in our little FCC family.
Russ had a friend from work join us on our wonderful kite day. They are just starting to seek information about Chinese adoptions. If any of our friends or family have any questions about Chinese adoptions and want to find out what you need to do to get started with you Chinese adoption, we would love for you to join us at any of our great events and teach you as much as we can. I just don't know how I would handle this long wait if it were not for all my WONDERFUL friends I have made in our FCC Family. We have such a STRONG support from each other. I love my FCC Family with all my heart!!!!
